ION Orchard Opens For Business In July 2009

Uiks! Setelah lama menunggu dengan penuh sabar dan makan hati dengan projek yang-entah-bila-nak-siap nie maka iols sangatlah bergembiranya bila iols dapat tahu yang ianya akan dibuka addinch lama lagi.


As if Singapore really needs another shopping mall. (Duh) Walaupon Singapore dah ada banyak shopping mall di sepanjang Orchard Road it's not even funny anymore. Tapi kalaulah dipenuhi dengan segala brand yang iols minat then it's a different story altogether. I would be able to spend the entire day in just one mall, taking my time to savour it all. How I wish I can do that. *Sigh*


And from the looks of it, ION Orchard is set to satisfy even the most hardcore of shopaholics. Shopaholic Mama iols rasa tempat nie dibina khas untuk uols. Senanglah uols nak berbelanja lepas nie kann? Heheks!


Berdasarkan sumber-sumber yang boleh dipercayai, it is already 80% full, with its tenant list reading like a who's who of the fashion world. For starters, they've got duplex (double-storey) flagship stores daripada jenama-jenama mewah lagi gah seperti Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana (Me likey!), Prada dan Giorgio Armani. Yves Saint Laurent, Burberry dan Ermenegildo Zegna jugak akan membuka flagship stores mereka di sini.


Other brands that are new to Singapore or will have stand-alone boutiques for the first time also include Dsquared2, Diane Von Furstenberg, Harry Winston, Hilfiger Denim, Just Cavalli, Marc Jacobs (Not Marc For Marc Jacobs occay!) and Vivienne Tam. Addinch lupa jugak kepada Christian Audigier. Yes uols! Christian Audigier. Mind you it's not Christian Audigier for Ed Hardy but his main brand. So rasanya lebih mahal kott? Yang ittew iols addich tahu. So Ash should we go there together? Remember that u still owe me a date right? *Wink Wink*


And the list just goes on and on. Expect also to see Muji, Miu Miu, Bally, Salvatore Ferragamo, Sephora, Thomas Sabo, Topshop/Topman, Uniqlo and Zara. Iols don't know about you, but Iols dah boleh nampak myself spending loads of time there once it opens in July. Can't hardly wait!


One more thing, a heads-up of sorts for fans of Louis Vuitton. I heard both boutiques at Raffles Hotel Arcade and Hilton Shopping Gallery will be closed in the coming months, with boutiques in ION Orchard (taking centerstage of course), Ngee Ann City (which will soon be a duplex boutique as well) and DFS Scottswalk Galleria left in Singapore.
